J2EE Designer/Developers - Qualifications

3-4 years of J2EE Design and Development Experience

Java Development Experience, including creation of Java Server Pages (JSPs), Servlets, Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs), Struts
-
Experience with SOA, Web Services, XML
-
Experience with leading application servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle Application Server, JBoss)
-
Experience with JavaScript/XHTML/AJAX is a plus.

Experience writing SQL and using JDBC to connect to relational databases.

Very Strong object-oriented design and development experience, specifically in the area of J2EE design patterns such as Model View Controller, Command pattern, Session Facade, Data Access Object pattern, etc.

Experience over the full software development lifecycle.

Experience estimating the duration of design and development tasks.

Very Strong written and verbal communication skills.

BS in Computer Science preferred.
Microsoft .NET Designer/Developers - Qualifications

3-4 years of Microsoft .NET Design and Development Experience

Experience with VB.NET and/or C#.NET

Experience with ASP.NET

Experience with Web Services, XML

Experience with ADO.NET

Experience writing stored procedures and schema design with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle

Very Strong understanding of component-oriented development, object oriented development, and the .NET object model

Experience over the full software development lifecycle.

Experience estimating the duration of design and development tasks.

Very Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- BS in Computer Science preferred.
Web Designers
- Experience with a variety of current web technology including HTML, CSS, XHTML, WML, ActionScript, ASP, PHP, and SVG graphics.
- Understanding of Web Design with cross platform and browser compatibility - “W3C compliant”
- Understanding of Meta tag layout for search engine optimization
- Desktop Publishing and Design (Color Management - four color process & spot color / Network Font Management / Graphic Illustration - vector and bitmap - graphic pen illustration)
- Adobe products such as, Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, InDesign, GoLive
- QuarkXPress, Allaire HomeSite 4.5
- Macromedia suite including, Dreamweaver, Flash Professional, Fireworks, FlashPaper
- Experience being part of a team involved in the translation of gaming, media and entertainment brands to the online environment.
- Experience with content management systems and large-scale, templated websites.
- Exposure to or in-depth knowledge of information architecture and user interface design
