Responsibilities:

• Designs solutions which enable existing and new applications, application components, packaged software and systems to work together within State of Delaware’s technology environment
• Primary focus is to develop solutions that fully integrate and collaborate with existing IT systems in order to perform automated business functions

Qualifications:

• Proficient in integrating multi-tiered business applications for high availability, scalability and of high performance
• Understanding of object oriented modeling, design and development
• Has experience managing projects using the Java/JavaEE, Open Source Java frameworks, Apache geronimo using a Postgre database
• Has architected projects using web services, service-oriented-architecture and workflow concepts and implementations
• Expert in industry standards development methodology such as RUP, XP and/or Agile
• Exposure to various technologies such as web-based, real-time, batch and translation data proccessing (ETL)
