The Business Need
In an effort to ensure that Delaware residents are provided access to reliable insurance coverage at reasonable rates, the Department of Insurance, through Insurance Commissioner Matt Denn, selected Diamond Technologies to develop their website insurance Rate Comparison & Management System rate comparison tool.
The Solution
The new online system provides three components. It allows insurance providers to enter their rate information via the internet into a central Department of Insurance database. It offers Delaware citizens the opportunity to access the insurance information and compare the available insurance programs through the online quoting system. It provides an administrative section allowing DOI staff to monitor and manage the incoming and outgoing data.
