Privacy Policy

We help businesses protect their data and infrastructure for a living. It would be inconsistent for us to be anything less than straight with you about how we handle your information on this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. No filler.

1) What We Collect

What you give us

When you reach out through a contact form, download request, appointment scheduling form, or any other submission on our site, we collect what you include: typically your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the content of your message or request. That information goes into our CRM (HubSpot) and is accessible to our team for the purpose of responding to you.

What we collect automatically

When you visit our site, some information is collected automatically through the tools we use to understand how the site is performing. This includes:

  • IP address and approximate location (city or region level, not precise)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages you visited, how long you spent on them, and how you got here
  • Date and time of your visit

This data comes through Google Analytics and HubSpot. It does not identify you by name unless you have previously submitted a form, at which point HubSpot may associate your browsing activity with your contact record.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies — small files stored on your device — for two purposes: understanding site traffic through Google Analytics, and CRM tracking through HubSpot. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site functionality may be affected. If you want to opt out of Google Analytics specifically, Google provides a browser add-on for that at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

2) How We Use It

The short version: to respond to you, improve the site, and maintain our relationship records. More specifically:

  • Responding to inquiries, download requests, and appointment submissions
  • Tracking website performance and visitor behavior in aggregate
  • Maintaining prospect and client records in HubSpot
  • Protecting against fraud or misuse of the site

We do not use your information for automated decision-making. We do not sell it.

3) Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We use two third-party platforms that process data on our behalf:

  • Google Analytics: Receives anonymized site usage data. Their privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
  • HubSpot: Stores form submissions and tracks activity for known contacts. Their privacy policy: legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy

Beyond those two, we may disclose information only in limited circumstances: to comply with a legal obligation such as a subpoena or court order, to protect the safety or rights of our clients or staff, or in the context of a business transaction like a merger or acquisition where permitted by law.

4) Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you can contact us at any time to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct something inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Opt out of any marketing communications

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)

California law gives you additional rights, including the right to know exactly what personal information we have collected or disclosed, the right to request deletion (subject to certain exceptions), the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. As noted above, we do not sell personal information.

To make any privacy request, email us at info@diamondtechnologies.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may ask you to verify your identity before completing the request.

5) How Long We Keep It

We keep contact records in HubSpot for as long as the relationship is active. We periodically remove records for contacts with no engagement over an extended period. Website analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ default settings. We do not hold onto data longer than necessary.

6) Security

We use HTTPS encryption on this site. Access to HubSpot is limited to authorized Diamond Technologies staff. We apply the same mindset to our own data practices that we bring to our clients’ environments: defense in depth, least privilege, and ongoing attention. That said, no system is impenetrable, and we will not pretend otherwise.

7) Links to Other Sites

Our site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies before submitting any personal information.

8) Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

9) Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. We will not bury significant changes.
